Hart have made the astonishing admission that they don’t know when or why the Government cut funding for the doomed Shapley Heath project. They have made the admission in a response to an FOI request (our emphasis added).

It seems more than a stretch to believe that the Government never informed them of the decision. Indeed it was the reason that the project was stopped according to Councillor Cockarill.
It seems they have deleted all of the evidence about the project. We do hope this error finds its way into the “Facilitated Reflection” into the project. Car crash doesn’t cover it.
