There is Brownfield Solution for Hart District

There always was a brownfield solution to our housing needs and the new joint venture agreement between Berkeley Homes and M&G to build 1,500 homes on Hartland Park (Pyestock), means we now have more than enough capacity to meet our housing needs from brownfield sites for decades to come.

The case for a brownfield solution

Brownfield is greener, cheaper and will do most to meet our needs

The sites are available

We have capacity for around 4,000 new homes on brownfield sites in Hart

Pyestock made available for housing

Berkeley Homes and M&G sign JV agreement to develop 1,500 homes on Hartland Park

Innovative design can make it happen

New techniques can deliver thriving communities on brownfield sites

And Ranil supports it

Our MP has said he believes redundant commercial buildings should be brought forward for regeneration

Brownfield sites deliver faster

New research from the CPRE shows that brownfield sites deliver new housing faster than green field sites

But we also have some obstacles to overcome....

The lost brownfield sites

Hart Council managed to lose 1,400 brownfield units between October and December

Hart Council only pays lip service to brownfield

We need to persuade Hart Council to change course and develop a proper brownfield strategy

Rushmoor is protecting too much brownfield land

We need to persuade Rushmoor to release more brownfield land to meet their own and our needs
